Our Advent season starts late November with packing boxes for Operation Christmas Blessing. This has become one of our favorite traditions. Last year we did 2 boxes for 2 children. This year we did 4 boxes for 4 children. It is a terrific way to kickstart the Christmas season. You can find out more at samaritanspurse.org!
ResMed has a terrific holiday schedule so Akhila and I got to meet up for lunch in Oceanside Wednesday before Christmas, before the real chaos started. Christmas Eve we went to church then to my dad and Becky's for dinner and presents.
Christmas Day we had the Gapens over. But I didn't have to cook!
The whole family gathered 'round for the Christmas story, and then, of course, PRESENTS!
