Many of you probably know that we were gearing up for our vacation to Hawaii for so long. We actually pre-purchased this vacation package through the Marriot 18 months ago, before Luke was a twinkle in our eyes. We postponed the trip twice, and finally took the vacation at the last possible week, 9/2-9/8.
We had to get up at 3 am on Tuesday the 2nd to make our flight. Luke was such a trooper! He was very much up to the challenge! Adam was gracious too in driving us at such an ungodly hour!
Here are some pictures of the airplane ride and then getting to our digs - a one bedroom villa where we had a master bedroom with separate reading room (which became Luke's room) a separate bathroom just for the tub and a sink, a traditional bath with walk-in shower, a big living room, dining room, full kitchen and patio looking out to the pool.
I've also included a view of the resort from our morning walks around the lagoons. We took a walk before Luke's morning nap each day (hence the reason he's still in his PJs).
