. . .was amazing. After forty hours of what is known as a prodromal labor (real labor that comes and goes rather than gets consistently stronger), my labor finally got down to business and after about four hours of consistent contractions, Ryan and I headed to UCSD Hillcrest. We got checked into the Birthing Center and Liam was born 38 minutes later! It was a little frustrating to be in labor from 3:00 am February 13th and not deliver until 11:00 pm February 14th, but it was apparent that my body was working slowly and steadily with a swift delivery!
We had lots of visitors at the hospital: Nana, Aunt Summer, Natalie, Uncle Adam, Aunt Jess, Uncle Gabe, Aunt Lauri, Gma, Gpa and Morgancito.
Only 6'1! When they laid him on my chest, I knew he was a little peanut!
Best Big Bros ever! Levi was absolutely taken with "Li-Li."
Putting such a tiny baby in the carseat was a little tough!
