Ode to Summertime

We had a really nice, mellow summer.

Ryan was putting the pedal to the metal to finish his last few classes. He should be done September 28th with his degree!

I always think work will slow down, but it doesn't really. I took a couple days here and there, visited my mom and others. We went down to Aunt Kathy's pool a few weekends -- Luke likes to hold on to my neck while we do laps. We went to the San Diego Zoo Nights twice. Overall, we kept it really low key, enjoying our summertime weekends. We are really looking forward to this fall, when things will cool down for us --metaphorically speaking as well as the temperature! Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy a little rest and relaxation.

Speaking of which, have you ever seen anything more precious than a sleeping baby?


Luke is growing up so fast -- truly he is more boy than baby. Little moments like these remind me he'll always be my babe!
